If you grew up watching "The Price is Right" in your youth as I did, you probably had a smile plastered across your face throughout Monday Night Raw last night, as guest host Bob Barker transformed the AllState Arena into "The Price is Raw."
And the Internet took notice of Barker's appearance on Raw. As Bob took the Raw stage, Twitter exploded with Barker mentions, making him the No. 1 Top Trend on Twitter throughout most of the show (and in the Top 25 in Google Search Trends as well) ... which had some in the non-WWE media concerned. With all the legendary celebrity passings this summer (Michael Jackson, most notable), I can understand the assumption/worry.
And the glowing reviews of Barker's performance keep on rolling in.... The author of "Priceless Memories" (which all proceeds go to the DJ&T Foundation) was very well received by Examiner.com's Rick Rockwell...
"Bob's appearance on WWE RAW was fantastic. He displayed great professionalism, command, and could interact with anyone. He truly is a legend in television."
Also, TV Squad, Entertainment Weekly, the Hartford Courant and the Baltimore Sun chimed in on Barker's appearance on the longest-running episodic program in cable history.
