Hey WWE Universe! Here's some random thoughts as Philadelphia celebrates a World Series championship, and only flipped TWO cars during the victory parade! (just kidding).

DEMO TIME: If you're a PS3 or XBOX 360 player, good news! WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is out for downloadable demo on XBOX Live or PlayStation Network. You've got about two weeks to practice before the real deal hits your local video game store. Of course, you can order the game now on WWEshop.com. 

Also, we're working on getting some of the development team at THQ to join WWE Universe for a Q&A Live Blog before the game hits shelves, so you can get all the details about the best-selling fighting game on consoles today. More on that next week!

VIDEO GOES WIDESCREEN: If you've checked out videos on WWE.com lately, you've seen our new widescreen Flash video player. We're really proud of it, since it now allows you to expand videos to full screen on your monitor. Also, it ends all the compatibility issues with Windows Media Player on various platforms.

If you haven't seen the new video player yet, start with "The Dirt Sheet", then move onto "Santino's Casa."  Really great stuff from the WWE.com dev team ... kudos!

RAW 800 THIS MONDAY: We're celebrating 800 episodes of WWE's flagship program this Monday night, with a special 3-hour episode, starting at 8 p.m. ET.

The Raw Live Blog kicks off at 7:45 p.m. ET, and I hope to have legendary ring announcer Howard Finkel with us for the night.
