Hey to all my fans and non fans out there. I'm new to all this blog stuff, so bare with me. I'm in Manchester, England right now and just wanted to post my first blog to tell you guys what's up with me. I have never had a My Space or Facebook page before so if you see someone saying they're me, THEY ARE LYING. I can't believe some people have nothing better to do in their lives than to pretend they are someone else. Please forgive me if I sound bitter, but I don't like it when people read something and think that I said it when I didn't. If someone is going to make an opinion about me, I'd like that person to have all the facts first. Then if they don't like me, well the don't like me. But they will not be liking me, not some person pretending to be me. Make any sense? I hope so. I know not everyone is going to like me, and to be honest, I don't care. I stopped trying to please EVERYONE a long time ago. We all get so caught up in trying to make people like us, that we lose who we truly are. If someone doesn't like the real you, then you shouldn't have to change who you are to please them. Stay true to yourself and the people who like you will be your true friends. If you surround yourself with those people, everything will work itself out. Damn, I sound like frickin Dr. Phil! I guess what I'm trying to say is stay "Gold" Ponyboy! You're my boy Blue! Thanks for those words Chavo. You opened up my eyes. I have been trying to please everyone and make everyone like me. Only recently i have started just being myself. I do feel a bit lonely at times when i am on break at work, but that is ok with me now because i am being true to myself. So i am strange, but i am ME. I would love to be a friend to anyone. my message here is two-fold chavo. point one is that i think what you had to say was right on! i myself stay true to myself because it helps me to deal with whatever life throws at me...stay true chavo! you give all of us fans out there our money's worth day in day out & i've been a fan for over 30 years! second, i wanted to share something with not just you but the fans out there who don't know the legacy of "la familia" in the wrestling world over the past decades like i have with this being the 3 year aniversario of your uncle eddie's passing. some of my gteatest memories of wrestling were watching your dad & uncles mando & hector at the olympic auditorium in downtown l.a. every wednesday/friday nights. i was there when your dad had wars with people like rowdy piper & moondog mayne. i was there to watch hector win the america's championship in san bernardino only to have his opponent killed in a car crash on the way home. i was there to watch tag matches against the twin devils & others. every time i asked for an autograph i was never turned down & always was given as much time as i needed as a little boy to talk to my idols. when my hometown movie theater satrted having wrestling shows, your dad came out from texas to perform on a card one week. i remember that one because the wednesday before i was coming home from my paper route & i was asked directions to where a newspaper could be bought...the person was your abuelo gory. i was like a kid in a candy store! watching eddie's career was amazing as well. from mexico to ecw, wcw, & finally wwe reminded me of those days watching your dad & uncles. when i heard of his passing i cried because it was like losing a part of my childhood. he truly was a graet performer & his legacy will live on in fans' hearts for a very long time. garcias for the memories chavo! watching you is like adding more memories to what i've watched for over 30 years now...
