I do see Punk retaining because of some outside interference to stymie Taker again--either Batista, Vince, Teddy, or even Eric Escobar & Vickie Guerrero; and at this point, I don't see Punk dropping the belt until the December PPV, or the Royal Rumble.

I think Orton/Cena will be brutal, although Legacy may try to help Orton in some way, if DX doesn't get in their way. I see Orton going for or landing at least one RKO here, but Cena to finish with an Attitude Adjustment onto the steel steps, or rolling that into the STF to force the tapout.

I see DX winning a brutal one over Legacy, although Legacy, as you've said it, should make it a well-contested match to end this feud. That is why I'm predicting a "JeriShow" win over Batista & Rey--with Jericho beating the **** out of Rey with a Codebreaker or Walls of Jericho. If there's one thing this DX duo have never done, it's win the tag team belts. I like to see that happen this time.

The 3-way for the U.S. Championship looks neat. Although a Miz "awesome" win is possible IMO, I do think Kofi will win when Jack & Miz beat up one another. I do think Kofi could drop the belt...in a singles match to The Miz later on.

Dolph should impress again IMO, but I see John Morrison retaining with Starship Pain. Alicia should give a good fight, but I see her getting KO'd by Mickie's Mick Kick or Tornado Implant DDT. I just don't envision Alicia holding the Divas belt at this point, unless they wish to start pushing Kelly Kelly or Gail Kim. If they do "book" Mickie to win, then it'll be to give Beth Phoenix or an eventually returning Maryse another push.

There was one last-minute add-on to the card, and on that one, I see Drew giving a good showing, but R-Truth winning with the Lie Detector.  What's up?!

MY RATINGS ON THE SUMMERSLAM MATCHES

Rey Mysterio Huracanranas Dolph Ziggler from the top rope to remain Intercontinental Champion:  9/10

MVP drops the Playmaker on Jack Swagger:  8/10

    Kane "toasts" Khali:  7/10

"Jerishow" remains tag team champs over Cryme Tyme:  8/10

DX takes down Legacy w/ HBK's Sweet Chin Music:  10/10 - If you didn't like that match, then I have two words for ya...

"Team Regal" takes down Christian after the quick Killswitch:  6/10

Randy Orton overcomes restarts & fan interference to RKO Cena into oblivion...a clean win:  10/10

CM Punk overcomes the 20-ft. Swanton Bomb and wins the WHC, only to get a "Hello" from the return of The Undertaker:  10/10 - MATCH OF THE CARD!

OVERALL CARD RATING:  10/10 - In 2 years of me going to WWE Live Events here in Southern California, this one was definitely the best one, and the most awesome experience I've had.

FOR THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS - SUMMERSLAM SEGMENT:

Superstar of the Segment:  Randy Orton - who else would it be?  He carried momentum the entire time, and got a "clean" win at SummerSlam.  Let's hope he has a third arsenal that is a submission hold.  He'll need it for Breaking Point.

Diva of the Segment:  None of the Divas were really that impressive enough, but if I had to choose one, then it would be Mickie James because she had a successful title defense over Gail Kim on Raw recently.

Match of the Segment:  Two of them were at SummerSlam.  The TLC match for the World Heavyweight Championship between CM Punk & Jeff Hardy, and DX v. Legacy.

Moment that made you go "OMG!":  What else...Jeff Hardy's 20-ft. Swanton Bomb from the top of the ladder, down onto CM Punk and the ECW Announcers' Table.

Segment's best RAW Guest Host:  Shaquile O'Neal

The entire SummerSlam weekend here in L.A. was just spectacular.  Not only did I see The Fink host Fan Axxess the whole weekend, but I got autograph signings from:

    Maryse

    Alicia Fox

    Melina

    John Morrison

    R-Truth

    & SmackDown GM Teddy Long

Of course, there was the photo op with the Divas at the Pepsi Max truck, which was very awesome; with Maryse & Alicia Fox on Session 1 last Saturday, and the newest Diva, Courtney, that Sunday.  Overall, this was a very awesome experience, maybe a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience it, and I am thankful to share my experiences and thoughts--through this blog and my personal photos, with the rest of the WWE Universe.  Thank you, WWE!  Come back to L.A. in the Spring of 2010!

    PREDICTED MATCH ORDER

    1.  ECW Championship

    2.  MVP v. Jack Swagger

    3.  Kane v. The Great Khali

    4.  IC:  Rey Mysterio v. Dolph Ziggler

    5.  Unified Tag Team:  "Jerishow" v. Cryme Tyme

    6.  TLC match for the World Heavyweight Championship:  Jeff Hardy v. CM Punk (Potential showstealer)

    7.  DX v. Legacy

    8.  WWE Championship:  John Cena v. Randy Orton

The last 3 matches I've listed are likely the last 3 matches that will go this Sunday.  In addition to the last 2 listed, I see a few others that look like a "Pick 'em" to me.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP:  This is one of those matches that I feel is 50/50.  If Legacy does intervene, then I see DX coming over to counter it.  Either way, I see this match ending with a big Orton Punt, or an Attitude Adjustment; and both Cena & Orton to clash heads again at Breaking Point.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:  Both Jeff Hardy & CM Punk are certainly at home on top of ladders, with a few MitB and a handful of ladder matches under their belts.  However, I see CM Punk doing something spectacular in the end here, and winning the belt yet again.

ECW CHAMPIONSHIP:  Regal doesn't have alot of PPV experience of late compared to Christian, but don't underestimate this Brit's ferocity.  He'll at least give Christian a run for his money, and he may even try to lock in the vicious Regal Stretch.  But I think Christian will fight it off in the end, and win with the Killswitch.

DX v. LEGACY:  This could go either way, in all honesty; although most believe DX will win it.  Legacy could prove everyone wrong, though, since they're young and improving--moreso if Randy Orton allowed it.  I do see all four Superstars going for their finishers, although nothing would be more pleasing than another round of Sweet Chin Music.

IC CHAMPIONSHIP:  If Dolph Ziggler can improve off his showing at Night of Champions, then he'll give Rey a bigger run for his money.  Dolph has a better chance if he unloads something unexpected on Rey.  Otherwise, I see another 619/Springboard finisher from Rey to retain.

UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:  Fairly a shoe-in here with Chris Jericho & Big Show retaining, although I wouldn't be surprised if Shad Gaspard & JTG show something they haven't shown much of.  They'll certainly try and push "Jerishow" to the limit, but that's about it.  I see the KO Punch or the Codebreaker/Walls of Jericho ending this match.

SINGLES GRUDGE MATCHES:  The MVP v. Swagger match, on paper, looks quite even.  This could be a see-saw fight to the end, with the winner either unloading the Gutwrench Powerbomb or the Playmaker.  For the "monster mash", I see both men either going for the Chokeslam or the Tree Slam, and this could go either way too.

If Undertaker does return, it'll likely be either at the end of Kane v. Khali, or at the end of the TLC Match, surprising whoever comes out of that one the World Heavyweight Champion.  Otherwise, I see the two big singles belts changing hands here at SummerSlam.

That's all for now.  Look for my photos of my signs that I'm bringing to Staples Center by tomorrow night.
