MY RATINGS ON THE SUMMERSLAM MATCHES
Rey Mysterio Huracanranas Dolph Ziggler from the top rope to remain Intercontinental Champion: 9/10
MVP drops the Playmaker on Jack Swagger: 8/10
Kane "toasts" Khali: 7/10
"Jerishow" remains tag team champs over Cryme Tyme: 8/10
DX takes down Legacy w/ HBK's Sweet Chin Music: 10/10 - If you didn't like that match, then I have two words for ya...
"Team Regal" takes down Christian after the quick Killswitch: 6/10
Randy Orton overcomes restarts & fan interference to RKO Cena into oblivion...a clean win: 10/10
CM Punk overcomes the 20-ft. Swanton Bomb and wins the WHC, only to get a "Hello" from the return of The Undertaker: 10/10 - MATCH OF THE CARD!
OVERALL CARD RATING: 10/10 - In 2 years of me going to WWE Live Events here in Southern California, this one was definitely the best one, and the most awesome experience I've had.
FOR THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS - SUMMERSLAM SEGMENT:
Superstar of the Segment: Randy Orton - who else would it be? He carried momentum the entire time, and got a "clean" win at SummerSlam. Let's hope he has a third arsenal that is a submission hold. He'll need it for Breaking Point.
Diva of the Segment: None of the Divas were really that impressive enough, but if I had to choose one, then it would be Mickie James because she had a successful title defense over Gail Kim on Raw recently.
Match of the Segment: Two of them were at SummerSlam. The TLC match for the World Heavyweight Championship between CM Punk & Jeff Hardy, and DX v. Legacy.
Moment that made you go "OMG!": What else...Jeff Hardy's 20-ft. Swanton Bomb from the top of the ladder, down onto CM Punk and the ECW Announcers' Table.
Segment's best RAW Guest Host: Shaquile O'Neal
The entire SummerSlam weekend here in L.A. was just spectacular. Not only did I see The Fink host Fan Axxess the whole weekend, but I got autograph signings from:
Maryse
Alicia Fox
Melina
John Morrison
R-Truth
& SmackDown GM Teddy Long
Of course, there was the photo op with the Divas at the Pepsi Max truck, which was very awesome; with Maryse & Alicia Fox on Session 1 last Saturday, and the newest Diva, Courtney, that Sunday. Overall, this was a very awesome experience, maybe a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience it, and I am thankful to share my experiences and thoughts--through this blog and my personal photos, with the rest of the WWE Universe. Thank you, WWE! Come back to L.A. in the Spring of 2010!
