"Ron Killings (a/k/a R-Truth) was detained at the Canadian border today and denied entry into the country for tonight's WWE Raw and Smackdown tapings, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. As such, he will not be able to appear on the shows this week.
Powell's POV: It's worth noting that former TNA agent and wrestler Glenn Gilbertti (a/k/a Disco Inferno) also had issues when TNA headed north of the border for a pay-per-view event due to his past legal issues. It's possible that something similar prevented Killings from entering the country, although that's just speculation.
This won't help Killings's already shaky standing in the company. As I reported last week, WWE officials have soured on him due to his in-ring work. You can check out that story by clicking here."
My Thoughts
WWE's "Brotha" allotment for entry into Canada was fulfilled already? lol

Just wanted to Address some Tired Posts/Blogs that frequent this place...
ECW is Fine, it may not Dominate the Ratings, but the folks watching are getting Decent Wrestlingmatches.
It's an Hour show (an Hour is All they need), there's No Need to have about 8 Guys fighting for a bunch of belts.
Another thing, the people complaining that it's "Not what it Used to be" need to move on, it's Frankly getting Tired. It Won't be that way, it Hasn't been forever, you're All like Mice spinning your wheels for weeks on end. Seriously.
ECW is a Good Program, you don't like it? Go watch Moesha...

Our time is over... if you grew up watching great stars of the 90`s, and even into the Attitude era, our time with the WWE is OVER.. Its been made very clear with recent events, the hyping of Cena for several months, the random title match, and, the victory.. He is focusing on the new generation of fans. the teeny bopper, good-guy loving Cena fans.. Vince knows that todays youth really dont give a **** about writing, and prefer simplicity... Its kinda like their hulk hogan (i almost threw up typing that), but im afraid its true.. It wont get any better for us, and as sales lead Vinces writing staff, fueled by this new wave of fans, we are left to hold on, and will slowly stop watching after giving up hope.. as with any great business, MONEY is the driving factor, unfortunately for us, in the process of this, we have lost a great and unique show, one that WE watched for creativity, and genius, and originality... its been replaced with unoriginal, predictable, and mind boggling ****... its a sign of the times.. music, movies- you see the trend.. I will always remember the REAL WWE...
Brett hart would put it like this.. "the old wwe is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be"

Attitude era was amazing, and I loved pretty much the entire year of 2002. The NWO returning, Hogan/Rock at Mania, the Draft debuts, Lesnar debuts, Eddie Guerrero returns, the Austin walkout, HBK returns, and to top it off, I saw WWE live for the first time in almost 5 years.

TNA is some seriously great wrestling (AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, Eric Young, Booker T)... ****, they gave WWE Kozlov. But, WWE is just the monster of the biz. I would really like to see WWE utilize the great wrestlers they have...instead of just all the power **** Vince likes so much (Batista, Cena, Kozlov, Mark Henry etc) I want to see actual MOVES and submission holds...real wrestling with story lines thrown in. That is what is should be, skill and determination. That is what makes TNA cooler.

i agree, but tna has problems of there own. while they do a better job of giving us more wrestling, there are still people like kevin nash, samoa joe, scott steiner and so on...not to say they are not good wrestlers. But the real problem with tna is they have no idea how to set stuff up. The storylines and stipulations are so ****ed up in that company. Seriously a match where there are four tag teams, two must be eliminated by pinning both the partners and then the remaining two face off???? who's ****ed up idea was that??? I love the wrestlers of TNA (AJ Styles, Motor City Machine Guns, Kurt Angle, Petey Williams and so on) but the company needs to be run better. Its cool that Jeff Jarret started it, but where does his expertise come in??? He was not **** when it came to the wwe and he is still not ****. They make him to much of a god in tna, he needs to step back and let someone else come in and run it.

It's the lack of adventure that is killing WWE. Stopping hardcore matches and making more young-person friendly characters (I'm actually suprised the Undertaker is not considered too scarey to be on Smackdown).
Even the trash talking is so basic now. What happened to calling people "yellow bastard" and alike? Heck even DX get "suck it" edited out
Mic skills over wrestling ability is not the way to go, give the belt to guys who can put on a good display. That is why ECW is good.

Vince turned his back on the older fans in the '80's when he created 'sports entertainment'. He turned his back on the older fans when he created the Attitude Era. He's doing it again now & he will continue to do it because he has to cater for the new generation.
People are only complaining because now they are the older fans. Deal with it.

Well I think even if Vince has turned his back, he's still trying to cater to that wider audience. I mean look at guys like C.M. Punk winning the title. If he were just catering to kids, do you think a tattooed (admittedly drug free) "Punk" guy would be held in such regard?

Yes I do. While tattooed he is tee total, drug free & comes across as heroic.
I'd argue that he's held in such high regard given how badly his reign was treated. He legitimitely beat Snitsky & JBL. That was about it

Yeah, but what I mean is that he's kept in the mid to upper card because of who he is. Vince knows that firstly he's a more adult character, but also he knows of his past. I mean my brother solely loves the guy because of all the awesome matches he's had in the past in ROH and that brings him in to watching Punk on WWE even if he is far and away nowhere near as good as he was back then (that's Vince's fault)

ROH does nothing for me so I go solely by the WWE portrayal. And I wouldn't call the WWE Punk an adult character. At least not yet. I certainly would like to see it. The guys seems like he'd be a great heel

Well I guess for right now, he's as 'adult' as your gonna get, atleast with all the tattoos and stuff. Guys like him and Orton are definitely geared to older viewers I think, not that kids can't find the appeal in them.

hell yeah orton is the **** right now. i mean i think we all had a period of time that we hated orton but when he got hurt i know i looked at what it had become and saw that the wwe needs orton. in a way he reminds me of a new stone cold. hate him or love him hes gunna do what he wants to and take out who ever gets in his way. THATS what the wwe needs not these jacked up freaks that always get a push because they can flex and look like an ape. i mean can you name one big guy that can wrestle? cuz no one comes to mind right now and dont even say cena cuz he has as many moves as a new born baby

It's hard to tell where Vince's head is at really. I mean he gives us the PG programing and Kids Website, then he pulls the messed up bull **** that was the Hardy being found passed out in the hotel. Many people felt he was either dead of an over dose or falling off the wagon again. To do that and to brag about non-existant media coverage, while scaring the **** out of Hardy's fans (the majority of which are children). Your hero might be dead, oh just kidding. Smooth move. The Punk as a character which only appeals to adults is strange. The guy is walking Anti-Drug PSA and the fans cheer his name each time he is out there (Most of which are kids). Even though Punk is one of the more complex characters within the E, the kids still like him alot and besides, kids always want to be more grown up than they are and they gravitate towards what older people think is cool. So the indy fans who like Punk play a bit of an influence on them. The older folks who like Punk are cool so the young kids who like him want to be as cool as them to. This is way the Attitude Era was popular with kids as well. It was what older people thought was cool and they wanted to be cool by association. So why no edgy TV-14 storylines? Well it seems to be more of an effort to keep the media and uppity soccer moms off their backs after the Benoit Murders. That brought them back into the media spot light and it wasn't a good thing. People complained about the drugs and the adult storylines agian, so ratings begin to drop, Vince panics and here we are. We have the PG regime. It brings in the kids with the colourful characters and we're still watching because they still have a good product wrestling wise.
