Hey all,

So I was at the SD/Raw tapings last night I was rright near the hard camera which were great seats but all I can say is my god.... Smackdown sucked!!!  No Edge except for backstage.  I know they did not want us cheering for him which is what would have happened but I felt cheated byy not seeing him.  I thought Raw was really good.  The Jericho/CM Punk was a match worthy of PPV status 5 stars!  I absolutely loved the finish with a codebreaker in mid air.

I knew we would see Trish Stratus but I had no clue she would end up in the main event.  Trish has lost a bit of muscle but she has not lost a step in the ring.  The pop she got when she came out was huge!

I do not know if it came across this way on TV but man did Cena has a ton of heat, except for the kids beside me who were driving me nuts.  I am not a fan of Cena and loved hearing him get boo'd!

Jericho's promo before the Dark Match against Cena was great.  He was forced to move to Canada by his abusive parents!  Classic stuff and he did get a few people to boo him but overall he was still very over with the crowd!

Overall it was definitely worth the money I forked out for the tickets...

I have to say I have really enjoyed Raw 2 weeks in a row now.  There was some decent in ring action and some of the segments were good as well.  I am not saying that it was a great show but given some of the **** we have been put through I will take this show any day!

Mike Knox is a bully?  Interesting but let's see him go after one of the larger guys.  I do not want to see him squash Rey.  A big guy little guy feud never works...

I can't get into CM Punk/Kofi as the tag champs, it just seems very forced.  Now that they have started putting some emphasis on the IC Belt maybe they will also turn around the Tag division.  The match itself was ok.

Melina needs to slow down a bit in the ring she botched a few moves and almost reinjured her ankle, not sure if anyone else caught that or not.  On the other side Santino is GOLD!  He has yet to not entertain me in one of his segments they are always funny and he is definitely a highlight of the show.  I have a buddy that used to be a big fan but has since jumped off the wagon but he love's Santino as do I!

Dolph Ziggler.... WOW!  That is how you give a guy a rub without having him win.  Man did he look good in the ring and I am looking forward to seeing what they do with him now....  That was a really competitve match and I though Batista made him look really good. Or was it the other way around???

Hmmmm... Finlay looked to be really clumbsy last night which is very strange, does anyone know if he is injured?  He did not look good in that match at all and being in the ring with someone as good as Morrison it just seemed like nothing worked for them..

Rey wins... Big surprise... Next!

I still love looking at Stephanie and I am glad that Shane was not on the show but you can pretty much guarantee he will be there next week for the Slammy's!  Slow build again and that is the way it should be! 

Cena beats Kane... no shock there but they actually do something interesting and have him get beat down!  I loved watching Orton DDT him off the stage, that was a pretty cool spot.  Orton, Manu and Rhodes looked great together and I can't wait till DiBiase comes back and all 4 of them are together.  Jericho putting the old school lion-tamer on Cena to try and re-injure his neck looked great!  It was a nice change to see someone one-up the Champ...

I like how they gave us 3 main events for next week but I hope they do not pull a bait and switch or give us lackluster matches.  I don't care about the Slammy's with one exception, Santino's acceptance speech will be a classic!

I hate being this busy at work but I guess in this economy I should be thankful to have a job.  I do not have a lot of time but here goes....

I actually enjoyed Raw last night.  I am not a big fan of the Steph/Shane feud that is building but I am willing to give it a shot so I will leave it alone for now. 

Watching Morrison go nuts on HBK was cool and quite the twist with JBL booting Morrison.  I wonder what business arrangement he was referring to?

I hate the ticker on The Score and I don't like that they censor small things like the word a$$...  It's on at 9:15 anyone young enough to be offended by that is in bed... Anyways...

Was it just me or did it seem like for the first time in a very very long time that they think the IC Belt is important?  When did that happen?  I like it and all but all of a sudden it is a stepping stone to the world title?  Really???  I love the tournament idea though and look forward to watching it progress.

Melina looked like she did not miss a beat in the ring and actually looked really fired up to be back!  She is very easy on the eyes but she's no Mickie James!

CM Punk, you are great in the ring but a top guy you are not at least not yet!  I hope you enjoyed the big bonuses while they came because I have a feeling it will be a couple years before you see them again..

Batista looks to me to be a man ready to snap!  I would love to see The Animal go completely insane and make a huge heel turn.  Re-align him with Orton and you could have something special...  Just a thought...

Mike Knox... the jury is still out and I am not going to base my decision on anything other than his "new" Raw character.

Kane vs Cena... next week?  Why bother?

Speaking of John Cena..... I don't know what to say.  His promo was ok but being surrounded by a bunch of kids is great, let's see him surrounded by a group of 18-35 yr old males and see the reaction he gets.  I liked the beatdown he gave Jericho as it added something new to his character for the first time in a long time but at the same time is that what you want to teach that group of kids?  Beat the guy until you choke him unconscious??  I liked it but if you are marketing to kids that is a fine line to have to try and walk.

I know people will say I am a Cena hater and I never have anything good to say about him but his new AWA ripoff shirt is pretty cool....

I am not too happy about the fact that John Cena is Champ yet again.  It was a refreshing few months having him away.  It is never good to see someone go down to an injury especially one that was as potentially serious as Cena's was but having him off TV for a while was refreshing.  I do not like Cena, not because of his looks but because I am tired of having him shoved down my throat.  He will never be a Rock, Austin, Hogan etc....  Whilst I appreciate the love, respect and hard work he puts into the business I just cannot get into him and I have tried.

Ont the other hand I am ok with the way they gave Edge back the title.  It creates a great storyline as to where he has been and also brings back a great fued with him and Hardy.  It will be interesting to see where they take it.  I wonder if they will bring up the fact Edge ruined Matt's life and now he is messing with his or if they with just have Jeff go completely postal.  Either way it should be interesting.  Maybe this is a way to bring back Christian as well?  I certainly hope so because while I love Christian I hate TNA...  I have been to a live TNA PPV and it showed how far apart the 2 companies are.  Anyone that thinks TNA is even close to the WWE is nuts.

I am hoping tonight to see the Rematch of Cena and Jericho and am also hoping they further the Randy Orton/2nd Generation storyline.  One more thing....  When are they going to repackage Deuce??  He is Jimmy Snuka Jr!!!  Acknowledge it and give Superfly's boy a chance..

So I read today that Trish Stratus is nominated for a Gemini Award.  This is a huge testament to Trish's talent.  Trish is probably the greatest women's champion of all time with her overall mix of beauty, in ring talent and promo ability.  I see what the Diva's have become and I long for a Trish/Lita match.  Trish you have my vote for the Gemini as you have not turned your back on the industry that put you on the map and you gave us all lasting memories in the ring and out so good luck with the awards!

I have not seen "Hi, I'm Dolph Ziggler" in the ring yet but I already do not like him and not in a good heel heat way.

I am really hoping they start some storylines at Survivor Series that they can carry all the way to Mania.  

I have been subscribed to WWE 24/7 Classics on Demand for about 3 months now and I have to say... I love it!  I wish it was updated more often but then again I wish the WWE creative team would come up with something interesting!  We can dream can't we?

Why are there not any surprises in Wrestling anymore?
