    Fond Memory

Sunday, August 31, 2008, 04:08 AM EST [General]

When I was a little girl from 6 till about 10 I spent time off and on in the hospital. It was just easy for me to get sick. Every now and then I would watch wrestling with my older cousins who I thought of as more like brothers, but what had always kept me tied in some way was the fact that when I was in the hospital, my Dad would stay with me and we would watch wrestling together till it went off or one of us fell asleep. Once I got to High School I faded away from wrestling cause I got wrapped up in my school work and friends. Though I always had someone keeping me on track with what was going on in the Wrestling world. I always had a slight love for it.

Then I got back into it in Jan of this year, about three weeks after my Dad passed away. He passed away on December 4th 2007. It was a late night and I was sitting at work, I work the graveyard, and on TV came the RAW update. I was hooked once again, and I couldn't help but think of my father at that moment. It was always a fond time, and as much as I hated the hospital stays, my memories of my father will always be over us watching Wrestling.

I'm sorry to hear your father died last year. I lost mt uncle 2 years ago. It isn't easy to go on when someone close to you dies.
