For celebration of the History of the Intercontinental Championship DVD that is being released tomorrow on WWE.com 11/25/2008. They celebrated by having a Championship Tourney for the Intercontinental Championship.
Early in the match Kane disqualifies himself making Kofi Kingston go on to the next round.

Chris Jericho def. Batista & Randy Orton (No. 1 Contender's for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match)
As announced by Shane McMahon early on Raw, that is going to be a No. 1 Contender's Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. And it will contest three Superstars all in which are former World Heavyweight Champions Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, & Batista will face in the squared ring for the opportunity and the winner will go to Armageddon to face World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship. During the match Chris Jericho hits a Running Bulldog on Randy Orton. There are a lot of close pinfalls exchanged in the match by all three competitors. Batista spinebusters Randy Orton. Chris Jericho locks the Walls of Jericho on Batista. Chris Jericho gets a pinfall on Batista to go and face World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon.

Overall I get this episode a 9 out of 10! Wow! What a lot of returns this week! John Cena, Edge, Mr. Kennedy, Melina, & Goldust all returned in this week. John Cena becoming New World Heavyweight Champion at Survivor Series. Edge returned at Survivor Series. John Cena returned at Survivor Series. Mr. Kennedy returned on Raw. Goldust returned on Raw. Melina returned on Raw. Two Intercontiental Tournaments featuring both World Tag Team Champions in both of them which they both one. A Triple Threat Match to find out who the No. 1 Contender's for the World Heavyweight Champion. Which Chris Jericho won.
