    WE WANT ROAD DOGG

Sunday, November 8, 2009, 04:53 AM EST [Road Dogg]
    Posted By: DXSSI

If you watched Smackdown this past Friday (and if you didn't, I don't blame you since DX wasn't involved) you may have noticed something interesting during the CM Punk vs. R-Truth matchup.

As of late, CM Punk has been having a feud with, of all people, referee Scott Armstrong, who just so happens to be the older brother of former WWE talent, the Road Dogg, Jesse James.  Between that and the fact that R-Truth is a former tag-team partner of the Road Dogg, both in WWE and TNA, it seems to have incited the Rhode Island crowd to chant for one of our favorite Superstars—even though he hasn't set foot in a WWE ring in years.

Hey, Providence—when R-Truth asked you "What's Up?" I don't think that's what he meant, but we appreciate it anyways!  Here's hoping WWE hears your pleas and brings the Road Dogg back into action; he's apparently sitting on the sidelines right now anyways.

Survivor Series: DX vs. Cena — and each other

Monday, November 2, 2009, 08:53 PM EST [General]
    Posted By: DXSSI

At the conclusion of Monday Night Raw for October 26, NASCAR racers and guest hosts Joey Lagano and Lyle Butch took the liberty of booking the main event for Survivor Series 2009, pitting John Cena against Raw's top contenders for the WWE title in a triple threat match—that's right, against Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

While the prospect of a title shot for both members of D-Generation X is no doubt exciting and bound to be a fantastic match, championship gold has a history of coming between partners; even DX themselves in years gone by.  Thus it will be the policy of the D-Generates group going forward to not play favorites and simply encourage good sportsmanship.  Whether it's Triple H or HBK who defeats John Cena, there can only be one WWE Champion—and we encourage both Shawn and Hunter to rise above the temptation to dissolve their friendship in order to stay in pursuit of the championship belt.

    Raw: A DX and Jerishowdown

Monday, October 5, 2009, 11:47 PM EST [DX]

    Wilkes-Barre, PA—October 5, 2009

Hot off the heels of Hell in a Cell, DX came to Wilkes-Barre looking for a new challenge, and it looks like they found it.  Courtesy of the night's guest host, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, DX found themselves in the main event of the night, across the ring from the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, Chris Jericho & The Big Show.

Both teams were less than 24 hours removed from their respective battles at Hell in a Cell, but in spite of this, they pummeled each other in and out of the ring until Jericho and The Big Show had had enough.  With The Big Show out of commission somewhere in the front row, and Chris Jericho cornered by DX (not unlike Cody Rhodes the night prior), Jericho left the ring and headed up the ramp, intending to take a countout loss.  That wasn't to be, however, as Jericho was cut off at the pass by Ben Roethlisberger and the offensive line of the Pittsburgh Steelers, giving Jericho no option but to be "escorted" back to the ring by DX.

Within a few short moments, DX had a decisive victory over the tag team champions and celebrated in the ring with the Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive line, as they joined in to give the old DX salute.  With this in mind, D-Generates all around the world have got to be wondering... does this put DX in line for a shot at the Unified Tag Team Championships, and if so, when does it go down?  Amazingly enough, even considering the laundry list of opponents Shawn Michaels & Triple H have been through, they've never reigned as tag team champions together, and maybe it's about time that that little asterisk was wiped away from the history books!

Guess we'll all just have to stay tuned to next week's Raw to catch the fallout.
